(English Tour Guide Meeting in Jeju Airport)

You’ll be met by our specially designated
Jeju Island expert tour guide. After a brief introduction and orientation of
this beautiful island, you’ll be driven to the site called
“Mysterious Road (aka Goblin Road)” which lies on a hill at the foot
of a mountain, and connects two major highways.
It has earned its name as objects and liquid appear to roll and
flow up the hill instead of down, creating an optical illusion rendered
by the seemingly high surroundings.
Hotel check-in and remain free at leisure for the rest of the evening.

Continuing the tour in Jeju Island that attracts more than
10 million visitors a year, your first sightseeing today is Jusangjeolli Cliffs.
If you’ve ever seen the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Island,
then you’ll be familiar with what to expect.
These cliffs are naturally formed by lava when Mt. Hallasan volcano
erupted into the sea thousands of years ago.
Next we head to Seokbujak Theme Park aka Natural Stone Art Museum which represents the 3 symbols of Jeju Island : stones, wind, and women. 30,000 basalt stones in various shapes are scattered throughout the spacious park. Following waterfalls and upon entering
Open Exhibition Hall, visitors are exposed to over 1,000 different
wild flowers and plants. This afternoon you’re going to be embarking
on Seogwipo Pleasure Cruise(duration: 1.5 hours).
This cruise offers dazzling scenery on the coastal lines and islands
around Seogwipo Port. Famous for its breathtaking scenery worldwide,
it’s considered as a “must do tour course” for both domestic and international tourists when they visit Jeju Island.

This morning you’ll be visiting one of many UNESCO’s World Heritage designated sites in Jeju Island, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak.
One of the 360 parasitic(cinder) cones in Jeju Island was uniquely
created on the sea floor. Rising 183 meters above sea level,
the tuff ring was originally an island, but the gradual deposit of sand
and gravel formed a connection to the land.
The next stop is Seongeup Folk Village.
Located at the foot of Mt. Halla on Jeju Island, Seongeup Folk Village
is a small traditional town that holds a vast amount of Korean culture. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down
from generation to generation and include treasures such as traditional houses, Confucian shrines, ancient government offices, stone statues,
large millstones (pulled by horses or ox), fortress ruins, and
stone monuments. Transfer to Jeju Airport and depart to Seoul city.
